Even though the stray family is in bad shape and, according to some people on OYP, Reimu's actions are so reprehensible that she should be beaten or at least abandoned, I think that the story is less disturbing than a few kids cartoons on the same subject.
I really hope those guys don't have kids.

Don't compare the treatment of yukkuris, fictional creatures, with real life people. Remember that yukkuris can't be compared to anything based on all their traits. So what would be forgive and at least chastizised with a speech for kids, won't necessarily be forgiven or accepted by yukkuris that may "stick to their guns" a bit too much even if it may deny the basic rules of nature, common sense, logic, etc.
Plus avoid the comments making snarky remarks towards OYP, the least people need here is to keep going that Silly "US vs THEM" mindset and attitude, specially when OYP isn't making comments about this place after the agreement of "no insults or snark comments against the yukkuri booru".
Remember it's part of the rules here. Focus on the cute yukkuris and forget about what you don't like of the fandom.

^^I hope that they don't have kids for the kids' sakes. If they get so upset at a talking manju being ungrateful, can you imagine how they'll act when their own flesh-and-blood talks back to them?
^I wouldn't say that we've had a real problem with apologists on this site. They mostly stick to OYP.
But even of they do come here, if they can at least create a reasoned, coherent argument, then I think we should support their right to free speech. However, I don't feel that anonymous' statement that "yukkuris can't be compared to anything based on all their traits" is particularly compelling.

People the rules, c'mon don't get all uppity, avoid all the silly drama, don't call names, or anything, people are here to watch the family friendly pics, not to discuss abuse or to throw stuff to that other site.
Take it Easy and respect the rules! Since Discussion didn't take it easy back in Danbooru with all the discussion and drama, and i was hopping yukkuribooru would avoid it, specially the local members, i come for a fix of cute stuff not for the moral implications of fictional creatures.
Can you act like OYP doesn't exist or anything, please?

Apologist is a perfectly harmless term. It's a compliment, really. It means that they defend an idea with reason. While I hope to keep the debate to a minimum, as long as legitimate apologetics of either side are used, it seems alright to me.
Don't take over the site with argument, but if the comments are reasonable, then it creates constructive debate.

I don't think it's about apologetismn but avoiding drama in general.
I mean let's not go about OYP people shouldn't have children because of some of their views in yukkuris since we don't know if their way of seeing yukkuris, basically fantasy creatures, is the same than seeing real creatures.
It could be a bit like, you know, how some people don't get snappy at kids for doing tantrums but they do for teenagers doing them? everybody have their way to deal with stuff real or fictional.
So to avoid drama and such, let's not go for snarky comments or take some of the community approaches too seriously. We had seen how bad things went with drama, and we can't really blame OYP only for this, since we had been many times starting the drama back in danbooru even without a single member of the OYP stirring it or anything, well with exception of people like Mezzo and Anelaid, but since they are supposed more FF fans than anything. . .
Let's focus on our stuff, enjoy our cute pics, as much use OYP as a source of pics, and just focus on commenting in the pics. Let's put aside comments about OYP that aren't related to tagging and such.
