Re: drama
I know the reasons why this site was made and all, but seriously, bringing up the abuse/anti-abuse drama is pointless and irritating. It's really pointless, and it's unrelated to the regular use and enjoyment of YukkuriBooru, as well. Doesn't matter to me whether it's pro-abuse or anti-abuse, it's still annoying internet drama.

Thus, I would like for a rule to be added to the posting/commenting rules:
"Do not post negative comments about other sites, their policies, or their users. YukkuriBooru is meant to be a friendly place, so please leave such baggage at the door."

I know it hasn't become a problem just yet, but I just have the feeling that it would be better to nip this issue in the bud before it has a chance to happen.

In the list of rules its mentioned not to leave these type of comments. I realize how annoying it can be and part of the reason to create this site was to avoid the drama.

I see the revision to rule 5. That works quite well. Thank you.

What brought it to mind was seeing a comment on post #139 with "OYP has a tendency to tag things with danger in order to ruin it for everyone else". That's kinda borderline, IMO.

It was related to a discussion on whether or not this was considered part of an abuse story and one of the arguments, at least as I understood it, was that discussions over what is danger or not on OYP is difficult since things like yukkuris puffing, which is closer to a pout really, being danger since it clearly aggravates the reader when not all people think that way and so on. The discussion, of tags, is okay since for the most part, we use a mixture of Danbooru's and OYP's tagging systems.

I agree its borderline but as long as people don't start to get inflammatory over their policies, its okay.

I understood that part; the part that raised a red flag in my brain was "in order to ruin it for everyone else". That's casting aspersions upon others by automatically assuming malicious intent, and I don't think that's appropriate.

(I'm not sure if this is the right way to reply to threads....)

Yes, more than enough trouble has been caused on Danbooru because of all the debate about yukkuri abuse. Also I don't want OYP to grab any chance to accuse us for "snickering at OYP in our own little place" or some crap. As it is, we gathered here to enjoy family friendly material. At the very least, let's keep to our own standards as long as we're with ourselves.
