What! This wasn't uploaded already? Ammo's drawings were the first yukkuri pictures I saw, and damn, are they adorable. They seriously tug at my heartstrings, meaning I badly want them to be in real life.

Frankly, I was worried about people claiming that Marisa is being too selfish. But, as I've said before, I think that we need to remove ourselves from the standards of OYP; even when a yukkuri acts thoughtlessly, we shouldn't get too upset.

Selfish she is, but if that is to be considered punishable by torture, then I fear for the safety of nearly all the Touhou characters. Kirisame for instance is a thieving rat who steals items on the grounds that she is "borrowing them until I die" and Cirno often causes frogs to die due to her playing.

It's not even 'removing ourselves from the standards of OYP'. It never hurts to be receptive of others' behavior, even yukkuris'. I think it would be thoroughly exhausting to be finding fault in everything. Why not just laugh them away and deal with it? But it's true OYP has influenced many of us (not me). Particularly JusticeItEasy who is extremely powerful with his comments. (Though his and my beliefs are totally incompatible, I do respect him for that.) Now I'm not trying to accuse OYP right now, but it's just that we're the family friendly branch. The FF side and the abusive side of yukkuri fandom is as good as separate universes. Then I think we can, or should, adopt a much more positive and receptive view for yukkuris' behavior.
