This is really up to the mods of this imageboard to decide, but I'm really against the idea of uploading NSFW pics onto this site. This imageboard is supposed to be dedicated to the family friendly side of Yukkuris. Even if they're not abuse-oriented, NSFW still do not fit the term of family friendly. That is why I am against NSFW pics being uploaded onto this site.

Again, it's up to the mods to make the final decision, but I hope that the decision is the best one.

On the side note, I apologize if the thread title made it sound as if I have authority around here. Didn't actually realize it until after creating this thread...

How are we defining NSFW? There are a few pics that I can think of that no sane boss would get upset over (except for the fact that you're looking at yukkuri when you should be working), but you probably wouldn't want to show to children (http://bbs.shii.org/yukkuri/post/view/22921 is a good example). There's no explicit content, but sexuality is implied (for humor).

I wouldn't upload it.

SFW and the family-friendly rule basically means nothing gross, obscene, extremely grotesque.

And OYP has gotten even worse comment-wise than before.

So despite the abundance of porn, no yukkuri naughtyness?
Seems a bit hypocritical that I can't upload my collection when real porn is a-ok.

I don't think so. I personally decide whether somethings NSFW by it's intent. The nudity didn't even register with me since it seemed like it belonged there (she's bathing) and wasn't intended to arouse.

Though I know that other people are less cavalier about nudity.

I'm looking at another series by the guy who did series:kamisama (apparently his name is Nodachi). It deals with a similar issue (sacrificing your identity) in a less traumatizing way. Unfortunately, in one scene, the yukkuri metaphorically strangles her yukkuri-self. Is this an acceptable series to upload?

If I don't get an answer by Saturday, I'll just go ahead.

Is that particular scene very violent? It's also a good idea to make sure if that series has a happy ending.

The strangling is shown, but it's imaginary and implied that Reika stopped (she says she'll always remember that she's Reimu). There isn't any bean paste or anything.

The ending is kind of debatable, it's happy if you don't think about it too much. If you do then the whole sacrificing-your-identity thing might be sad. But I think that the ending is happy, Reimu matures into Reika by accepting that her relationship with her master goes two ways; they both need to make sacrifices.

I'm not sure... It's best to ask the others first.

EDIT: Is there a link to that series on OYP? I can take a look at it over there first before deciding whether or not it's fitting for this site.

As it is, I haven't seen the series but post it and if its too graphic we'll see from there.

Since the point isn't abuse/torture, and... well whatever that is, I think it can fall under the same category as Johnny Got His Gun Out.
