Chapter 1:
Anyway, I brought home a Mother Reimu Yukkuri with her little baby Reimukkuri, or what ever its called. XD

They were hungry eventually, so i shared my supper, KFC's Zinger with them. Gave the little one a small piece of the salad while I share half the burger with the mother. I realized Yukkuris couldn't take spicy stuff, but somehow the mother managed to eat it up (probably she was hungry).

So yea, Welcoming the mother and her child into my life. Will do more in the future, so stay tuned~ Yukkuri shiteitte ne! Take it easy!

What do you call it when you get a weird an English-speaker mistranslates a Japanese phrase?

You consume the potent fruit with your TRUSTY TONGUE.

It has a funny taste. You can't put your finger on it, but if you had to describe it you would say it has the flavor of INTENSE PAIN.

An incredible transmutation takes place.

Reimu Yukkuri becomes FIESTA REIMU YUKKURI. Your VIM reaches its full potential.

Apparently these yukkuriesque things with the big, black eyes and the tiny nubs for feet are called "Touhou mo~tsu chiri" This particular picture was tagged as "Take it mo~tsu chiri" and there are pages of other similar entries.

So, I guess what I'm wondering is whether I should upload mo~tsu chiri since they seem to look and behave very much like yukkuri.

Isn't this a bit too much for this site?

I actually thought so at first and was planning on skipping it, but post #5166 shows that this particular 4koma has yukkuri being fine with (and even enjoying) being partly eaten.

Its hard to tell without a translation, but I don't think its meant to be abusive and given other comics, it seems fairly light-hearted.

Don't forget that yukkuris are generally shown with strong regeneratative properties, so its the equivalant of getting a cut or a bruise.

If people feel that this is too much, let me know and I'll reconsider my position.

You mean like mothballs (as opposed to poison pellets)? Maybe it's safe for remilias (like cedar moth balls)?

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if they were made with concentrated remilia pheromones.

Yeah, something like mothballs. There isn't any mention of the word "poison" on the package.
